School History

From the calendar year 1994/95A.D. the school received the recognition as a lower secondary school and from 2006/007 it was authorized as a Secondary School by the Government of Nepal. From A.D. 2002, under the Inclusive Education, the school started 2 classes for Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing (DHH) and 1 class for Intellectually Disabled students. It is one of the three schools for providing Inclusive Education in overall Gulmi district. At present, 32 students from 11 different municipality and rural municipalities of Gulmi district are enrolled under the program free of cost (both education and residential). Also, from 2019 A.D. the school has started Agricultural Science (Plant Science) classes for secondary level under Technical Studies. Currently class 9 and 10 are run under this program and will continue to class 12 in the coming years.
